Ruth Paul holds an AA in Theatre Arts and Management. For last 20 years she has held post for the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and intermittingly The American Federation of Television and Radio Artist (AFTRA). Most currently and for the last 5 years Ruth has held the position of South Region Business Representative and now Senior Business Representative for the SAG-AFTRA, Miami Local, which covers 13 states in the South East.
As the Board Vice-Chairwoman, of the ADBF Anthony Dejuan Boatwright Foundation, Ruth is engaged in finding ways to help address the issues affecting the rights, safety, health and well-being of disadvantaged and/or disenfranchised children in America and the world, through advocacy.
Ruth also serves as the Secretary/Treasurer of the (BFMG) Black Film and Media Group in Miami, FL, who’s purpose is to provide opportunities and relationships in the Film, Media and Entertainment Industry.
