When his family is horrifically murdered by gang members on their farm in Riviersonderend, South Africa, French migrant Gilles hurls himself into an alcoholic rage, fuelling an incendiary urge for revenge. Gilles meets Tiny, a beautiful young waitress at the local diner, who also appears to have serious problems of her own.

Gilles and Tiny quickly fall for one another, offering each other comfort and affection, but the terrible secrets both of them harbor prohibits the necessary vulnerability to truly share a life.

A tale of grief, vengeance and redemption, The Endless River considers the positions of two people deeply damaged by heinous crimes. While Gilles desperately seeks justice, what he needs most urgently is to plumb his shattered spirit for compassion and forgiveness. – Andres Castillo
