Google Seminar Series on Gender & Racial Gaps in Film & Tech
Panelists address the obstacles that women and people of color face from institutions. The participants offer their views on large-scale changes already taking place and propose potential solutions for the work that still urgently needs to be done. Biases are often deeply institutionally ingrained, and disrupting these entrenched dynamics is no easy undertaking.
This panel will be moderated by Debra Zimmerman, Women Make Movies.

Yvonne Welbon is an award-winning independent filmmaker, producer, educator, entrepreneur, and consultant, and currently Interim Creative Director at Chicken & Egg Pictures.
